It’s ok, don’t panic, just blot as much liquid you can write away with a napkin or sponge. If its a garment run some water on it and you can save the day. If it’s your carpet or sofa dab some wet napkin on it. Do not run tap water over your carpet as it will damage it.

If the stain has already dried pour three to four drops of liquid laundry detergent and let it sit on the stain for a few minutes, rub the detergent over the stain with your fingers and then rinse off. If the stain has not faded out completely repeat the process a couple of more times until the stain is gone. Alternatively, you can make a past by taking powder detergent and adding a little amount of white vinegar, put the paste on the stain and brush it gently with an old toothbrush.

Of course, you could have just wiped out the coffee when it was spilt, but if you just discovered the stain and it has already dried, don’t worry there is still away. It’s as easy as pouring a little white vinegar over the stain, wipe away the stain with a clean cloth once the coffee is dissolved in white vinegar and let it air dry. You will be surprised that with this little effort your wooden table/floor will be as clean as if it was new.

Carpets are expensive therefore it is smart to hire a professional service or seek professional consultation for carpet cleaning. Take one tablespoon of the liquid dishwasher, one tablespoon of white vinegar and add them in two cups of water. Spray generously on the stain and blot alternatively with a wet and dry towel.
